Compensation: Based on Experience
DEFINITION: Responsible for provision and administration of specific maintenance or conditioning therapy treatments only under the supervision of the staff OT, PT, or ST. The Restorative Aide, as directed and supervised by the staff OT, PT, or ST, assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
EDUCATION:
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Requires current CNA with the OKDHS Nurse Aide Registery and completion of Health Restorative Aide Program.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: One year experience as a therapy aide, or restorative aide.
