About This Role
Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant is the core of this role, ensuring customer and team member satisfaction while maximizing profits. This position suits an experienced manager with a background in the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership in Human Resources functions, including performance management, scheduling, communication and application of company policies, recruitment and selection, discipline, coaching, training, and conducting performance appraisals
- Maintain all financials such as inventory control, forecasting productivity, financial reporting, and controlling cost of sales and labor
- Attain financial targets
- Execute local marketing campaigns and implement new promotions
- Make daily deposits at the bank
- Manage cash issues (cash short)
- Ensure adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Maintain awareness of competitor's promotions, trends, and growth
- Ensure the restaurant team maintains the highest possible level of customer service
- Deal with customer issues
- Ensure product quality and proper execution of all Pizza Hut standards
- Order product and maintain good relations with suppliers
- Assist the District Manager in the market
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience working in a restaurant environment or a background in the food industry
- Previous experience in a management position
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and develop others
- Ability to maintain financial controls
- Strong analytical skills
- Basic math and accounting skills
- Positive customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
