About This Role
This management position oversees both Front of House and Back of House operations, ensuring that Legendary Food and Legendary Service standards are consistently met. It suits an experienced Restaurant Manager with a passion for guest satisfaction and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage hourly employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- Review applications, interview, and hire or make recommendations to hire hourly employees
- Direct work for employees, including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant
- Drive sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
- Provide, direct, and schedule Front of House and Back of House training
- Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
- Conduct formal line Taste & Temps
- Enforce appropriate security measures at the restaurant so that the safety of employees and guests are maintained at all times
- Manage food, supplies, and liquor costs by conducting weekly inventory
- Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures
- Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment for the staff in a manner consistent with core values and operational goals
