To Apply for this Job Click Here We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations of a new upscale full-service restaurant in Chicago.
This leader will be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience, building and developing high-performing teams, driving financial results, and establishing a culture centered on hospitality and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate has a proven history of success within upscale dining environments and excels at developing teams, managing restaurant performance, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all restaurant operations and service teams.
- Recruit, train, develop, and mentor managers and hourly employees.
- Drive guest satisfaction and hospitality standards.
- Manage labor, inventory, scheduling, and overall financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all company standards and operating procedures.
- Partner with ownership during pre-opening and opening activities.
- Develop a positive, accountable, and hospitality-focused culture.
- Build relationships with guests, team members, and community stakeholders.
- Drive profitability while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of General Manager experience in upscale dining, fine dining, or premium hospitality environments.
- Proven success managing high-volume restaurant operations.
- Strong leadership and people development skills.
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience.
- Opening experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
