Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards throughout all food handling processes.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables and washing dishes as needed.
- Assist with cash handling duties, including processing payments accurately and managing cash registers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours while managing time effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation guidelines is essential.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous but not mandatory.
