Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give accurate change while maintaining accountability.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols throughout your shift.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting food preparation and cooking tasks.
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.
Experience
- Previous food service or quick service restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with fast-paced environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety management practices.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team setting while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Prior kitchen or café experience is advantageous but not required; eagerness to learn is essential!
