About This Role

The Restaurant Clerk is a key contact point for customer service, assisting with the preparation of grilled and hot food items according to company standards, and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of El Super grilled and hot food items
• Follow precise company standards for preparation and presentation
• Maintain a clean and inviting restaurant

Requirements

• Ability to read and write Spanish/English
• Ability to interact with the general public and co-workers
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food

Nice to have:

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

Important Details

• Schedule: Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends
