Respiratory Therapist
Centers Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist in the Adirondack Region. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment abilities and experience providing respiratory care in a long-term or post-acute setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor residents with respiratory conditions
- Perform diagnostic testing and evaluate lung function
- Interpret results and communicate findings to the care team
- Provide airway management, including secretion removal and clearing obstructions
- Educate residents on respiratory health, treatments, and prevention
- Instruct residents on proper use of respiratory equipment and therapies
- Respond to respiratory emergencies, including resuscitation support
- Collaborate with physicians on individualized treatment plans
- Follow infection control, safety, and clinical care protocols
- Provide care with respect for residents’ dignity and beliefs
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current, valid Respiratory Therapist credentials/license
- Respiratory care experience preferred (LTC/post-acute a plus)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organization
