About the role
Job Description Job Summary: The Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP-R) is expected to interact with patients and their families in a caring, compassionate, considerate manner and provide care with the highest regards for the patient's mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. The RCP-R is responsible for providing basic and advanced Respiratory Care services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The RCP-R performs patient assessments, develops Respiratory Care Plans, and then implements and evaluates the effectiveness of the Respiratory Care Plan. He/she is required to deliver respiratory care services to patients in all areas of the hospital including critical care units, telemetry, medical and surgical floors, emergent care areas, post-anesthesia care units, infant nurseries, labor and delivery, pediatrics, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and the home care environment. The RCP-R is expected to perform the duties and responsibilities outlined with only minimal supervision and must make independent decisions.

Minimum Requirements
- Licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Previous Clinical Experience.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
- Sign on bonus of $20,000.00 for qualified, full time candidates
- Relocation up to $7,000.00 for full time candidates per HR guidelines
