Resort Painter

About This Role

Painting projects inside and outside a resort are the core of this seasonal role, which is also responsible for general building maintenance. This position suits a candidate with a basic understanding of building maintenance and the ability to operate various tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain painting projects inside and outside the resort
• Maintain the building’s physical appearance and working order of the club, as well as assist with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system functionality and general upkeep
• Ensure the security, cleanliness, preventative maintenance, and repair of all engineering department tools, equipment, and safety features are in accordance with established procedures and budgets
• Ensure all maintenance and engineering storerooms and work areas are kept in a clean and orderly manner, storing all tools, equipment, and spare parts in proper locations
• Responsible for the proper treatment and care of tools and equipment used to perform tasks
• Complete delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Respond to after-hour calls as necessary
• Report and address unsafe conditions immediately
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Able to complete all types of work orders generated for engineering
• General understanding of building maintenance
• Ability to perform painting, maintenance, and general repair
• Knowledge and ability to operate tools, hand tools, and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations

Nice to have:

• 1+ years in building maintenance experience
