About the role
Seeking a Residential Counselor/Recovery Coach to support adolescents in a residential treatment setting for eating disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting clients through their recovery journey by providing interventions aligned with treatment plans.
- Fostering healthy relationships among clients and team members.
- Assisting with food preparation, supervising meals and snacks, and modeling proper eating behaviors.
- Participating in therapeutic group activities to promote skill development.
- Conducting rounds, observing clients, and occasionally transporting clients for off-site appointments.
Qualifications Include
- At least 2 years of post-high school education, with a preference for a Bachelor's in Psychology.
- Minimum of one year experience in mental or behavioral health (required in some states).
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Strong communication, client relations, teamwork, and flexibility skills.
Schedule involves shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, with varied hours.
Pay range is $17-$22 per hour.
