Leading and organizing a residential area with a dedicated team is the core of this role, ensuring high-quality, resident-oriented care and well-structured processes. This position combines leadership responsibilities with daily nursing activities, serving as a key contact for residents, relatives, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support the team in the residential area
- Organize and manage daily operations
- Create and assist with duty and holiday scheduling
- Perform individual basic and treatment care
- Provide support with daily nursing activities
- Ensure activating and resident-oriented care
- Monitor and further develop care quality
- Control and accompany nursing documentation
- Act as a contact person for residents, relatives, and employees
- Moderate team meetings
- Collaborate with nursing management, facility management, and other departments
Requirements
- Completed training as a certified nursing professional, geriatric nurse, or health and sickness nurse
- Further training as a residential area manager or willingness to complete it
- Experience in geriatric care, inpatient care, or a comparable care sector
- Ideally, initial leadership or management experience
- Enjoy nursing work and team development
- Strong communication skills and organizational talent
- Empathy in dealing with residents, relatives, and employees
- Independent, solution-oriented, and reliable way of working
- Willingness to work in shifts
