Resident Technical Officer, Water Project

About This Role

Working on a water project at Tanah Merah, the Resident Technical Officer supervises the construction of pipe laying, pipe jacking works, and chambers. This role suits an individual with a diploma in Civil Engineering and relevant experience in PUB Water projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the execution of construction works, including temporary works for pipe laying, pipe jacking works, and construction of chambers
• Ensure that works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Monitor the contractor's progress and performance, and maintain proper site records of the works
• Take photos of the worksite and update the client with proper labels daily
• Keep and maintain proper site records and documentation, such as attendance records of PM, RTO, STO, Professional Engineers, and contractor’s site personnel
• Keep records of diary, record books, schedule of works, records of inspection/checklists, and approvals for concreting and test records/certificates

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Relevant experience in PUB Water projects

Important Details

• Schedule: 5.5 days working week
