About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Lab Technician to join a growing pharmaceutical research team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory and bench experience supporting research and development activities in pharmaceutical science . Experience with microparticle formulations and drug delivery systems is highly desirable. Industry experience is preferred; however, candidates with a strong academic or research laboratory background are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bench-level laboratory experiments, including preparation, execution, and documentation of experimental procedures.
- Assist with the development and testing of drug formulations , with an emphasis on microparticle technologies and drug delivery systems.
- Conduct analytical testing of samples using HPLC, microscopy, and other applicable analytical techniques .
- Collaborate with senior scientists and laboratory managers to design, execute, troubleshoot, and optimize experiments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, experimental data, and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of technical reports, experimental summaries, and presentations .
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning according to established requirements.
- Follow all applicable laboratory safety, quality, and compliance procedures .
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- 1–2 years of industry or research laboratory experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on bench laboratory experience with knowledge of standard laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Experience with microparticles, drug formulation, drug delivery systems, or related technologies strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with analytical instrumentation and techniques, including HPLC and microscopy , is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately document experimental procedures, observations, and results.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with scientists and laboratory team members in a fast-paced research environment .
