About This Job The LSU AgCenter focuses on research, extension and teaching to make advancements that will benefit generations. The LSU AgCenter is one of nine campuses of the LSU System. With offices in every parish and research stations across the state, the LSU AgCenter is committed to serving the citizens of Louisiana. Job Duties: Job Duties and Other Information
As a Research Farm Assistant 1, You Will:
- Maintains grounds and other places around the Northeast, Macon Ridge, and Sweet Potato Research Stations. Uses mowers and other farm implements. (90%)
- Other duties as assigned. (10%)
Position-Specific Details:
- Appointment Type: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.
- Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Some nights and weekends may be needed.
- Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
- Location: Northeast Research Station, St. Joseph, La; Macon Ridge Research Station, Winnsboro, La
- This position is not eligible for remote employment.
