Research Associate, Research Assistant Associate, Research Scientist

About This Role

This research associate position supports innovative research focused on the generation and maintenance of mouse colonies and preclinical models of intestinal inflammation. The role involves performing genotyping, managing mouse colonies, assisting with laboratory experiments, conducting advanced flow cytometry, and performing in vitro and ex vivo research. You will collaborate closely with research team members and cross-functional partners while contributing to the successful execution of a variety of preclinical research projects.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience working in a research lab setting
• 2+ years experience performing flow cytometry and in vitro cell culture techniques
• Ability to use a personal computer and basic computer applications
• Ability to organize and present results in an appropriate format
• Ability to maintain complete and accurate records
• Ability to work independently after training
• Ability to read and understand scientific protocols
• Ability to work in an aseptic environment
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work schedule

Nice to have:

• B.S. or B.A. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or comparable field

Important Details

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Contract: indefinite
