About the role
Overview:
The Research Assistant I in the Kirby Center Lab will help with writing/revising image post-processing scripts and other codes to support various imaging projects in the lab.
Responsibilities:

Assist in the MRI data processing including writing Matlab scripts for post-processing the MRI data.

Perform research techniques, protocols, and research methods under direction of the Principal Investigator (PI).

Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results.

Oversee undergraduates in data analysis theory and implementation.

Perform statistical analyses for projects and reports to level of expertise.

Help prepare publications, grants, presentations, and posters based on McMahon Lab research.

Present at conferences as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in science-related field required (e.g., biology, chemistry, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, mathematics, computer science, or physics).
EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience is required although the position will require learning new skills on the job.
