Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development in computer vision, multimodal learning, medical/industrial imaging, and related AI4X topics.
- Design, implement, train, and evaluate deep learning models and research prototypes using Python/PyTorch and related tools.
- Prepare and curate research datasets, conduct quantitative and qualitative experiments, and perform rigorous result analysis.
- Review relevant literature and identify suitable baselines, datasets, evaluation protocols, and research opportunities.
- Contribute to technical reports, project deliverables, research papers, code repositories, and presentations.
- Work closely with the PI and collaborators, participate in research meetings, and support collaborative research activities.
- Perform other research-related duties as assigned by the PI in support of the project objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player
- Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills
- In-depth knowledge relevant to the project domain.
- Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.
- The ability and willingness to adapt and incorporate novel ideas and approaches in scientific industry.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate hypothesis and design effective experimental plans.
- Ability to design and implement new experimental methods.
- High-level expertise in the required experiment or modelling methods.
- Ability to initiate collaboration research in multidisciplinary team.
- Oversee and report project progress.
- Ability and willingness to work some flexible hours.
