Research Assistant

About This Role

Assisting with the coordination of research projects is the core responsibility of the Research Assistant, who works under the supervision of an experienced Project Manager. This role involves performing day-to-day research activities, including recruitment, data collection, and maintaining study documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage minimal risk studies under the supervision of a project manager or designee.
• Prepare, maintain, and track regulatory documents according to governmental regulations and sponsor requirements.
• Assist with subject visits, including obtaining vital signs, performing clinical tests, collecting clinical samples, and data collection, as applicable.
• Set up, track, and troubleshoot study technology (i.e., e-diaries, apps, home use research equipment), as applicable.
• Conduct literature searches and fact-finding research to support project development.
• Ensure adherence to federal or other regulatory requirements.
• Communicate needs, issues, statuses, etc., to appropriate study personnel.
• Assist with grant submissions and grant funding opportunities; participate in pre- and post-award grant processes, as applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study (Required).
• Skills in teamwork, organizing, computer literacy, communication, and multitasking.
