Research Analyst Innovation, Growth & Market Intelligence- GTM Strategy- 3 Years - Pune

Are you someone who enjoys market research, competitor analysis, and identifying new business opportunities? We are looking for a Research Analyst who can turn data into meaningful business insights and support strategic decision-making.This role offers an opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to market expansion and growth initiatives.

Location- Pune

Your Future Employer- A leading professional services organisation is strengthening its Innovation, Growth & Market Intelligence function and is looking for a research professional to support market intelligence, client research, competitive analysis, and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and changes in the industry.
2. Research and profile potential clients, including their business size, ownership, financial indicators, technology adoption, and growth plans.
3. Build targeted prospect lists and identify companies that match defined business and revenue criteria.
4. Analyse research findings and prepare clear reports, presentations, and executive summaries for senior stakeholders.
5. Use AI and other research tools to improve research efficiency while personally validating information for accuracy.

Requirements

1. 3–4 years of experience in research, market intelligence, business analysis, or a similar role.
2. Strong experience in secondary research, company profiling, competitor intelligence, and prospect research.
3. Ability to analyse information and present findings through reports, presentations, and executive-level summaries.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in professional calls.
5. Strong analytical and structured-thinking skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Preferred:

• Experience in Finance & Accounting, Shared Services, Outsourcing, or Professional Services.
• Exposure to US mid-market companies or PE-backed businesses.
• Experience using AI-assisted research tools.
• IIM background preferred; Finance & Accounting specialisation would be an advantage.
