Relief Security Officer

LOCATION: THE SIDINGS WATERLOO

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 ON 4 OFF, Various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. Days: 0700 – 1900, Nights 1900-0700

• Hours: Minimum 12 hours per week, overtime available

PAY RATE: £15.39 per hour

Customer Service:

• Interact with visitors and clients, providing a friendly, professional, and helpful service.
• Perform regular site patrols, monitor and control unauthorised access, and manage emergencies as per site policies.

Communication:

• Work closely with the ABM Duty management team, ensuring that incidents are reported and managed efficiently.

Record Keeping:

• Log incidents, emergencies, and non-conformances accurately.

Teamwork:

• Collaborate with Environmental Services and other teams to provide unified service.

Required Skills and Experience

Licensing:

• Must hold an SIA License (Door supervisor's license minimum)
• First Aid certification
• A CCTV license is desirable.

Key Attributes:

• Strong communication skills, professional, friendly, proactive, and a team player.

Motivation:

• Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver them with high standards.

Requirements

• Security experience within the retail or similar environment (preferable).
• Must be able to meet the requirements of BS7858 vetting
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Approachable and courteous manner.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to be flexible to meet the needs and demands of the role & the business.
