About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineering Manager to join our leadership team. This role is pivotal in enhancing equipment reliability, minimizing operational risks, and driving efficient, cost-effective plant operations.

As a key leader, you will shape reliability strategies, strengthen asset integrity, and play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and sustainable performance across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute reliability and asset integrity strategies for critical processing equipment (reactors, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, piping)
  • Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs leveraging RCM, TPM, RBI, and FMEA methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with process safety standards (OSHA PSM, IEC, API, and local regulations) and lead risk assessments (HAZOP, SIL)
  • Drive improvements in equipment reliability, availability, and lifecycle performance while reducing maintenance costs and recurring failures
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and monitor key KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) to enable data-driven decision-making
  • Plan and execute plant shutdowns and turnarounds, ensuring timely and effective delivery of critical repairs and improvements
  • Ensure adherence to EHS regulations and industry standards (API, ASME, ISO 55000) and maintain audit readiness
  • Utilize CMMS/EAM systems (SAP PM, Maximo) and digital tools to enhance maintenance planning and predictive analytics
  • Lead, coach, and develop reliability and maintenance teams while collaborating closely with Operations, Engineering, HSE, and Project teams

A proactive and results-drive n Mechanical Reliability profession al with strong technical expertise, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to drive change in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Requirements & Experience

  • 8–12+ years of experience in reliability, maintenance, or asset management within chemical, petrochemical, or oil & gas industries
  • Willing to be relocated to Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera
  • Professional English fluency
  • Strong exposure to continuous process plants and hazardous operations
  • Hands-on experience with reliability methodologies (RCM, RCA, FMEA, RBI)
  • Solid understanding of process safety (HAZOP, SIL, PSM).
  • Strong technical knowledge of rotating/ static equipment, pressure vessels, piping, and instrumentation
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies
  • Proficient in CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo).
