Relationship Officer - Micro Mortgages

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Business/Financials

• Candidateshould be able to deliver targeted business figures from thelocation of the branch. He/She is also responsible for building aquality portfolio without compromising on quality levels.

• Achievethe set targets on MLAP Loans in terms of open market acquisitionand existing potential customer conversion

• Maintaindatabase of the prospects, meet select prospects and manage therelationship thereafter

• AttendX (to be defined) number of prospects in a day/week/month togenerate leads and references for MLAP Loans

• Shouldbe ready to travel extensively across the catchment area of thelocation to build the base of business

Customer(Both Internal & External)

• Interactwith customers in a courteous and professional manner; provideprompt, efficient and accurate services and establishprofessional relationship with them, with a long-term perspective
• Guaranteeconfidential treatment of all the information gathered fromcustomers and demonstrate the highest order of integrity as perthe code of conduct of the organization

InternalProcess

• Carryout the pre and post-loan activities related to MLAP Loans,perform simple financial analysis, present the loan applicationsto the sanctioning committee by adhering to the set TAT &prioritize the repayment of loans to preserve the portfolioquality

• Visitthe customer??s business and home to do theassessment/evaluation, following the ??Product Policy?procedures.

• Coordinatewith the credit department in case of identifying discrepanciesor problems in customer??s information, reports, etc.through Cluster Manager ?? MLAP

Innovation& Learning

• Maintainup to date knowledge of MLAP product as well as a workingknowledge of other products offered in the branch
• InformCluster Manager ?? MLAP about the demand in his/her assignedbranch catchment as well as on the competition on a regular basis
• Ensureadherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs forself
• Shouldbe updated with the latest trends in civic and local laws of thelocation of operation

Educational

Qualifications

• Graduatein Commerce or relevant subjects

Experience (Yearsand Core Experience Type)

• 2years in sales and documentation of loans of which at least 1years in Housing Loans, home loans or loan against property in anNBFC/ Bank/HFC. Mixed experience of Sales & Credit isacceptable, but should be predominantly in sales

Certifications

• Relevantcertifications shall be an added advantage

Functional Skills

• Knowledgeof Secured loans/ Mortgage Loans
• Salesand marketing skills ?? retail financial products
• CommunicationSkills - fluent in the local language & can read-write basicEnglish
• Equippedenough to read and understand the legal papers
