About This Role
This managerial position with Bajaj Finance Limited involves leading a team to grow the consumer gold loan business and client base. The role focuses on building customer loyalty, developing business strategies, and managing team activities to ensure branch profitability and growth.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall branch operations, performance, and profitability of the branch
- Drive and participate in field-marketing activities for various financial products with the team to improve brand visibility
- Plan, conduct, and monitor branch field-level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads, resulting in business conversion and branch growth
- Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retainment of old customers
- Conduct error-free valuation and appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in the branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance
- Act as joint custodian of the vault with responsibility for safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies
- Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from customers for interest collections
- Utilize good planning abilities for smooth functioning of the branch and for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers
- Hire, coach, mentor, and train employees and provide them with timely feedback on their performance
- Maintain quality performance of the business, prepare various reports, and take necessary actions for business growth in the branch
- Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products (e.g., NCDs, Gold Coins sale)
- Responsible for correct valuation and maintenance of 100% process compliance at the branch
- Manage error-free valuation and appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in the branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance
Requirements
- 4-7 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred
- Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management, or client service preferred
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
