Relationship Manager

About This Role

This role focuses on sales and operations within a bank branch, developing customer relationships to generate new business, and handling day-to-day branch activities. It suits an entry-level professional with a sales background.

Responsibilities

• Perform 80% sales and 20% operations tasks
• Sell the bank's products and services
• Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers to generate new business
• Originate and acquire new leads from existing customers and other sources, converting them into business for the branch through marketing calls and customer visits
• Cross-sell third-party products like insurance to existing customers
• Generate leads for Current and Savings Accounts (CASA) from new customers and increase balances with existing customers
• Generate leads for various loan products such as housing loans, jewel loans, vehicle loans, and personal loans
• Conduct regular calls and visits to customers and leads for relationship building
• Process bank transactions in a timely manner, including account opening, fund transfers, and cheques
• Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and improve customer relationships through good service
• Handle day-to-day branch operations and efficiently manage all branch operation-related tasks
• Comply with the bank's rules, internal guidelines, systems, and procedures
• Effectively and efficiently handle any assignment given by the Branch Manager or Management

Requirements

• Prior experience in sales-related roles is preferable
• Graduate degree from any stream obtained through regular mode is preferred
• Entry-level position
