Summary:
The Rehab Site Coordinator will perform activities necessary to provide optimal patient care while assisting in the overview of business and compliance operations for their outpatient or inpatient services areas, or both. Site coordinator will complete patient evaluations, treatment plans, supervision of therapists and support staff/students, and communication with other members of the multidisciplinary team. The Site Coordinator will maintain a patient load, with 90% of time treating patients, and 10% of time doing administrative work. This 90/10 split may vary from time to time as needed. In the absence of the manager/director, the site coordinator will assume some of their duties, including, but not limited to being a point of contact for the department, doing payroll, leading staff meetings/huddles, ordering supplies, receiving requests for time off, and modifying staff schedules as needed. The Site Coordinator will assist in planning and implementing training for nonprofessional staff, and coordinating or designating clinical internships served at the respective centers overseen. The Site Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with the manager/director for directing the activities of the department in its day-to-day and month-to-month operations. These duties include assisting with designing and implementing departmental Performance Improvement (PI) programs and evaluating department personnel/competency. In addition, the Site Coordinator will oversee the hours worked to ensure that the department is compliant in meeting the productivity value assigned to the department and ensure the department is sufficiently staffed according to patient waiting times and patient volume. The Site Coordinator will work with the manager/director in formulation and implementation of the Capital budget process. The Site Coordinator will help ensure that our stakeholders’ needs are met. It will be the responsibility of the Site Coordinator to participate in outreach opportunities, communicate with referral sources, and coordinate care with case managers as needed. Site Coordinators may have access to sensitive team member information and must be trusted with confidential information and be respectful of all team members.
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed PT, OT, or SLP
- Prefer 3-5 years of clinical experience
Licenses and Certifications:
- Active and current PT, OT, or SLP license in state(s) of practice
- Current BLS is required for Site Coordinator
