Role Description The Rehabilitation Aide is a full-time, on-site role located in Lebanon, IN, supporting physical therapists and other clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient positioning and exercises under clinician supervision, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment. The Rehabilitation Aide may support administrative tasks such as scheduling, verifying patient information, and managing equipment and supplies. The role also involves providing courteous, professional assistance to patients, reinforcing home exercise program instructions as directed by licensed staff, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Ability to assist with therapeutic exercises, patient positioning, and safe patient transfers under clinical supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain treatment areas, manage supplies, and support clinic workflow.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients, families, and team members.
  • Basic administrative abilities, including scheduling support, record verification, and attention to detail with documentation.
  • Commitment to patient safety, infection control practices, and adherence to clinical guidelines and facility policies.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist with physical tasks throughout the shift; comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and readiness to contribute to a collaborative, team-based environment.
