About the role
We are seeking a Regulatory Engineer or Sr Regulator Engineer to support nuclear plant operations at a power station. Responsibilities Include
- Performing regulatory and technical tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with industry codes, licensing basis, and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting regulatory assurance activities such as corrective actions, self-assessments, NRC compliance, and communication with regulatory bodies.
- Managing dry cask storage programs, including licensing, inspections, and issue resolution.
- Contributing to process improvements and supporting day-to-day site operations, including safety review and inspection planning.
- Communicating site issues with regulatory significance to relevant departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- For Engineer level: minimum of 2 years of experience; for Sr Engineer: at least 6 years.
- Effective communication skills; maintain unescorted access and pass medical testing.
- Preferred: nuclear power experience, Engineer in Training certification, or previous nuclear operator certification.
