About This Role

This full-time nursing position involves delivering high-quality care to patients and supporting excellent client experiences within a busy, fast-paced practice. The role suits an enthusiastic, team-oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys variety and opportunities to develop their nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of inpatient and surgical nursing care
• Assist with anaesthesia and monitoring patients
• Support consultations and run nurse clinics
• Provide exceptional client care and education
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control
• Support Student Veterinary Nurses and VCAs where appropriate

Requirements

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
• Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement

Important Details

• Schedule: 40 hours across 4 or 5 days, with participation in a 1:3 Saturday rota, with time given back in lieu
• Team: 3 Vets, 1 Head Nurse, 1 RVN, 1 VCA and 5 Receptionists
