About the role
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care in an acute care hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Include
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to standards and guidelines
- Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient respiratory needs
- Communicating effectively with the healthcare team and documenting patient information
- Providing education on respiratory treatments to patients, families, and staff
- Demonstrating advanced clinical skills in critical care, including ventilator support, ECMO, and bronchoscopies
- Ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory and quality standards
Qualifications And Skills
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
- Licenses and certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, BLS
- Ability to perform multiple duties with effective time management
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related field
