Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care in an outpatient clinic setting, utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and collaboration with healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Performing patient assessments across physical, social, and psychological domains.
- Developing individualized care plans with patient, family, and team input.
- Implementing and delegating care according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitoring patient responses, evaluating outcomes, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Promoting professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, ensuring accurate documentation, and fostering team development.
Qualifications And Skills
- Current RN license in the practice state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; practice-specific certifications such as ACLS or PALS as required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a BSN and experience in OBGYN.
Physical and technical requirements: Ability to operate medical equipment, assist with patient transfers, and communicate effectively in fast-paced environments. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and navigate busy clinical spaces.
