The nurse practices in accordance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies, serving as a preceptor or mentor to support workforce development. They participate in performance improvement, research, and protocol development to enhance care quality. The role requires licensure as an RN, Basic Life Support certification, and less than one year of clinical experience, with a preference for higher education. Strong clinical, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills are essential.
