About the role
The RN Supervisor oversees patient care and services, ensuring quality through collaboration, monitoring, and evaluation aligned with patient needs and standards.
Qualifications Include
- An accredited Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least two years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics
- Current CPR certification or obtained during orientation
Key Skills And Responsibilities
- Expert knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and regulations
- Make independent decisions as needed
- Implement departmental policies, goals, and procedures
- Ensure patient rights, safety, and sanitation standards
- Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality
- Follow company policies, including compliance and harassment procedures
Essential Functions Include
- Managing and coordinating patient care to promote well-being
- Assessing patient needs and developing care plans
- Leading licensed staff and CNAs in prioritizing care
- Providing excellent customer service and positive patient interactions
- Assisting in emergency procedures, including evacuation
- Demonstrating dependable attendance and good judgment
- Working effectively within an interdisciplinary team
- Performing physical activities such as lifting and moving patients
- Communicating effectively in English
