About the role
Role: The RRT Nurse is a registered nurse responsible for coordinating rapid response assessments, prioritizing interventions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. They respond to RRT calls, assess and manage patient crises, document interventions, and develop clinical guidelines.
Responsibilities: Respond to and coordinate care during RRT events, communicate with multidisciplinary teams, educate patients and staff, collect and analyze RRT data for quality improvement, monitor patient outcomes, and serve as a professional role model and mentor.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires RN licensure, ACLS and BLS certification, minimum 2 years critical care experience, strong communication, multitasking, and stress management skills, and proficiency in computer and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of ethical nursing practices and Georgia RN regulations is essential.
Key Duties: Respond to emergencies, assess and intervene, document care, analyze data for improvements, support staff development, and uphold professional standards.
