About the role
Overview Job Summary This position is a Registered Nurse (RN) for Radiology. Areas of responsibility include IR, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. Candidate will take a rotating call schedule every 4-5 weeks and able to be at the facility within 1 hour of callback.
Responsibilities
- Preoperative care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
- Intraoperative care including cardiac monitoring and administration of moderate sedation.
- Postoperative care / recovery of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
- Implements the plan of care.
- Evaluates the plan of care.
- Administers medications as prescribed.
- Provides patient, family, and/or significant other health teaching/education.
- Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
- Communicates/collaborates with others in providing patient care.
- Provides clinical leadership
- Supports life long learning
- Completes assigned goals
Specifications Experience
- 1-2 years of ICU, ED, or procedural area experience required.
Preferred/Desired Minimum Required Education Preferred/Desired Training Preferred/Desired Special Skills Minimum Required
- Computer literacy
Preferred/Desired Licensure Minimum Required
- RN;BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE
- ACLS
