Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg/Acute Care/Post Surgical/Burn/Bariatric - Full-Time Days

Role Overview The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary care team, providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting. They practice under the guidance of Nurse Managers, adhering to evidence-based standards, the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, and the Code of Ethics.

Core Responsibilities

• Exemplary Practice: Conducts nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes, emphasizing patient-centered, culturally competent care.
• Collaboration: Coordinates safe, quality care through effective communication and documentation, supporting performance improvement and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Professional Development: Maintains competency, mentors colleagues, and promotes evidence-based practice, research, and continuous learning.
• Resource Management: Develops care protocols, supports resource efficiency, and participates in data collection and quality initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Active RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and a minimum of 5 years of direct RN experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
