Role: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care. They practice according to established standards, evidence-based practices, and the organization’s model, ensuring compliance with licensing, ethical, and institutional policies.
- Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, and implement patient-centered interventions. Partner with patients and families to promote understanding and involvement in care. Coordinate and document clinical activities, participate in performance improvement, and support evidence-based research initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional growth and a healthy work environment. Support resource management and contribute to protocol development to optimize outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires an associate or bachelor’s nursing degree, RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact), and BLS certification. Must have a minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Essential skills include strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and proficiency with technology. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies is vital.
