About the role
Role: RN Clinical Nurse, a proactive member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
- Delivering relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to individual patient needs and involving patients and families in care planning.
- Ensuring safe, quality care through effective documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to clinical standards.
- Supporting performance improvement initiatives, participating in research, and promoting best practices.
- Mentoring and serving as a preceptor for new staff and students to foster a competent workforce.
- Upholding organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards, including patient safety goals.
- Planning across the care continuum and supporting resource-efficient practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of professional nursing standards, evidence-based practice, and teamwork skills.
