About the role
Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit as a Registered Nurse, providing care for patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis. Responsibilities Include
- Utilizing advanced technology like telemetry monitoring, patient lifts, and virtual whiteboards to enhance patient care
- Performing skills such as EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies)
- Applying critical thinking, delegating tasks, and managing time effectively
- Collaborating with team members including PCNAs, nurse interns, providers, PT, and OT
Unit Details: 24-bed medical-surgical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1.
Qualifications Include
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in Ohio
- AHA BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days)
- ACLS certification (or obtained within 6 months)
Preferred: BSN
