Role: A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Long Term Acute Care, providing critical inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients requiring extended recovery.
Responsibilities
- Manage admissions and transfers to the unit.
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
- Accurately document patient data and interpret diagnostics like labs and telemetry.
- Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
- Respond effectively to Rapid Response and code events.
- Educate and counsel patients and families.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the respective state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred: Clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
