About the role
We are seeking licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) with recent ICU or Telemetry experience for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing safe, high-quality care in an acute-care setting
- Monitoring and documenting patient conditions and responses
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment
- Collaborating with healthcare teams
- Educating patients and families about care plans
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
- Adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards
Qualifications And Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum one year recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
