Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry for per diem hospital assignments.
Responsibilities: Provide safe, high-quality care in an acute-care setting, assess and monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, interpret cardiac rhythms, collaborate with healthcare teams, maintain accurate records, follow infection-control standards, educate patients and families, and demonstrate professionalism and adaptability.
Qualifications: Active Virginia RN license, at least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience, BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association, recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test, COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption. Additional credentials may be required based on specific assignments.
Skills: Strong assessment and monitoring skills, medication administration expertise, proficiency with medical equipment, effective communication, adaptability, and adherence to safety and policy standards.
Key Duties: Deliver patient care, monitor and respond to patient conditions, operate specialized equipment, document care accurately, follow hospital policies, educate patients, and work collaboratively within healthcare teams. Flexible scheduling allows working day or night shifts with options for daily or weekly pay.
