Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in ICU or Telemetry, providing per diem hospital care in Halifax, VA.
Responsibilities: Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in an acute-care setting; assess, monitor, and document patient conditions; administer medications and therapies; monitor cardiac rhythms and equipment; collaborate with healthcare teams; maintain accurate electronic records; follow safety and infection-control protocols; educate patients and families; demonstrate professionalism and adaptability.
Qualifications & Skills: Active Virginia RN license; at least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years; current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association; recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test; COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption; additional credentials as needed.
Key Duties: Provide high-quality, safe care; monitor and respond to patient needs; document care accurately; collaborate with medical staff; educate patients; adapt to hospital policies and procedures.
