About the role
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry
Role: Provide high-quality, safe patient care in an acute-care hospital setting, including assessing, monitoring, documenting patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and operate specialized equipment
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Follow hospital policies and infection control standards
- Educate patients and families about treatment and discharge instructions
- Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Registered Nurse license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience within the past two years
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Skills and Attributes: Strong clinical monitoring abilities, medication administration skills, ability to collaborate effectively, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
