About the role
Role:
Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Department, Level IV Trauma, working part-time night shifts (7p-7a).
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, families, and patients, ensuring culturally sensitive care. Document accurately, promote evidence-based practices, and support performance improvement initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified workforce. Participate in protocol development, research, and resource management to optimize patient outcomes and system efficiency.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, valid RN licensure (single-state or multi-state), and required certifications including BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ACLS. Experience with direct patient care preferred.
Skills:
Strong clinical, critical thinking, and analytical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; proficiency with technology; ability to respond decisively in emergencies; and effective time management. Commitment to professional development and adherence to organizational standards and ethics.
