About the role
Role: Responsible for overseeing patient care, personnel management, and departmental operations in the Emergency Department as an RN Assistant Manager.
- Key Duties: Manages staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development, ensuring departmental productivity aligns with organizational goals.
- Develops and monitors staffing plans, budgets, and resource allocation to support efficient ED operations.
- Coordinates patient care delivery, creating collaborative care plans tailored to patient needs and documenting interventions per policy.
- Supervises staff scheduling, assigns nursing duties, and manages overtime, ensuring adequate coverage and optimal patient outcomes.
- Conducts performance reviews, addresses disciplinary actions, and supports staff development.
Qualifications & Skills: Must have an RN license with 2-5 years of nursing experience, preferably including ED experience. A BSN is preferred, with less than 2 years of supervisory experience required. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
