About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator, Quality Assurance to oversee the organization and management of disease-specific programs, primarily focusing on stroke and neurosurgical care. Key Responsibilities Include
- Maintaining and ensuring compliance for the Comprehensive Stroke Center certification
- Collaborating with medical directors and hospital leaders on clinical, educational, research, and outreach activities
- Leading data collection, clinical audits, and outcomes reporting to meet program goals
- Participating in committee meetings, developing evaluation tools, and maintaining communication with physicians
- Ensuring adherence to clinical practice guidelines and regulatory standards
- Providing staff education on new procedures and techniques, and supporting quality improvement initiatives
- Contributing to marketing efforts and community outreach for disease-specific programs
Qualifications Include
- Current California RN license and BLS certification
- Clinical competence and leadership skills
- Experience in data management and analysis
- Preferred: 5+ years of clinical experience, 2-3 years in program management, and a Master’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent
