Position: RN Clinical Coordinator - Emergency Department
Role & Responsibilities: Assume a leadership role in the ED, overseeing unit functions, patient care, staff performance, and resource utilization. Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration, manage patient flow, and address clinical and customer service needs. Assist in staffing coordination and promote high-quality, cost-effective care. Support staff in applying the nursing process for patients with complex needs and identify educational opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills: Associates Degree in Nursing, 3-5 years of ED nursing experience, and current RN licensure in Massachusetts. Preferred candidates may hold a BSN. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities are essential.
Key Duties: Provide direct patient care, monitor staff performance, coordinate staffing, and foster communication among departments. Perform related tasks to ensure optimal patient outcomes and team efficiency.
