Role:
The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a specialized med-surg environment with telemetry.
Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practices.
- Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs.
- Partner with patients and families, ensuring clear communication and patient involvement in care planning.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care while promoting teamwork, inclusion, and performance improvement.
- Support professional development, serve as a preceptor, and participate in research and evidence-based initiatives.
- Develop protocols, optimize resource use, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree (preferred).
- Valid RN license (single or multi-state).
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and utilize technology effectively.
