Role And Responsibilities The RN Program Coordinator provides clinical expertise, consultation, education, and research within their specialty area, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting evidence-based patient care. They coordinate care across the continuum, develop and review clinical protocols, monitor care quality, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. The role may include managerial oversight, strategic and budget planning, and acting as a liaison for stakeholders. They evaluate program effectiveness, monitor clinical outcomes, and enhance patient experience.
Qualifications And Skills Current RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN (with a requirement to obtain it within four years if not already held). Demonstrated expertise in disease-specific care, quality management, and educational program development. Proficiency in computer skills, critical thinking, and data analysis. Preferred experience includes 3-5 years in ortho/neuro surgery in a Level I or II hospital, with RN coordinator or Charge RN experience and relevant certifications.
Key Duties Coordinate clinical care, develop protocols, monitor outcomes, lead quality improvement, and support staff and stakeholder collaboration. Ensure compliance and promote best practices to deliver high-quality patient care.
